Diversity in Agriculture Leadership Program cohort announced
PIX AMC will return to the Gold Coast in 2022
A GROUP of 12 skilled, talented and ambitious women – professionals in areas as diverse as station management, animal science and in- ternational trade – make up this year’s National Farmers Federation Di- versity in Agriculture Leadership Program.
National Farmers Fed- eration president Fiona Simson said, “I’m in- spired that the program – now in its fourth year – continues to resonate with women across Aus- tralia.”

Selected from 100 ap- plicants, the women will soon embark on an in- tensive one-on-one men- toring program, to assist them in determining their leadership goals and the role they aspire to play in the future of Australian agriculture.

Diversity in Agricul- ture Leadership Program graduates have gone on to hold industry board posi- tions and to be change- makers within their sec- tors and communities.
The 2021 Diversity in Agriculture Leadership Program cohort will go to Canberra for an in- troductory retreat, where they will meet each other, their mentors and hear from inspiring speakers.

The international movement restrictions combined with the con- tinuing company-based restrictions imposed on staff aided the or- ganising committee in making the tough deci- sion to further postpone PIX/AMC until May 2022.
